PFI is highly recognized in our industry for its capabilities in airframe and flight hardware manufacturing and assembly.  We are capable and experienced at machining a variety of detailed parts, weldments and subassemblies, to include aluminum, titanium and 4340 materials.  PFI’s normal processing includes but is not limited to: heat treat, chemical coatings, corrosion inhibited coatings and/or paint.  The completed detailed parts and subassemblies are arranged in the requisite assembly fixture where they are fastened.  PFI does weld-installs of rivets, high locks and fasteners governed by aerospace specifications. 

Completed assemblies are inspected using Laser Tracker, Faro Arm, as well as CMM for the final dimensional requirements.  Our assembly facility is temperature controlled and managed by Certified Aircraft Assembly Technicians.
